Golf
Tourism Scotland held its annual Gold Standard Awards ceremony at the Marriott
Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club near Edinburgh and Links Golf St Andrews were
named Golf Tour Operator of The Year. Mark Rigg, Managing Director of Links Golf
St Andrews was delighted to accept the award for the second time in three years
and the third time in the last seven years.

Open Championship will return to Royal Troon Golf Club in July 2016. It will be
the 9th time that Troon has hosted The Open, most recently in 2004 when Todd Hamilton
defeated twice Open Champion Ernie Els in a play-off.
