“I just want to take a moment to thank you for helping us have absolutely incredible, near-religious experience in Scotland. I have told everyone back here that everything exceeded my expectations. Your work and the work of your gents made our experience carefree and fun. I will never forget that trip: turning into the wind at Carnoustie, the views from Kingsbarns, the tears on the first tee at the Old Course, the mixture of sun and sleet on the New Course, the Chariots of Fire like jog on the St. Andrews beach, the little late-night nip of whiskey on Swilken Bridge and the battered, deep-fried cheeseburger. But I will also remember the good nature, effort and professionalism your staff showed us in making our golf dream trip come true. One of these days, we’ll bump into each again. Thanks again.”

Tain Golf Club

Situated to the south of Royal Dornoch, Tain is a heathland/links course with spectacular views. Designed originally by Old Tom Morris as a fifteen-hole course in 1890, it was extended to eighteen holes in 1894; eleven Morris holes are still in play today. This is an easy walking course with the river meandering through three of the holes. Always presented in beautiful condition, Tain is a good test of golf, with clever bunkering and natural water hazards. Tain is located 35 miles north of Inverness.
