Links Golf St Andrews. A group of eight people stand on a golf course in St Andrews, dressed in golf attire and holding clubs. They pose in front of an old, stately building with a clock and ornate architecture. The sky is overcast.

"On behalf of the entire group, we had a blast – thanks to all of you! Lyndsay did a fantastic job of setting up the itinerary. When we got home I saw Golf Architecture ranked 8 of the 10 courses we played in their Top 100. Ross made us feel right at home from the beginning. Kenny was great and took care of our every need along the way – can we get him to Ireland on our next trip? And we enjoyed everything about St. Andrews – meeting Mark, Sheena and the Dunvegan Bar, Russell Hotel for dinner and the hospitality at St. Andrews Golf Hotel. Thanks for arranging the Old Course for our two foursomes, the framed Old Course score cards and group picture, the nice golf umbrellas and the weather which kept them on the very comfortable bus. I could go on and on about the courses, the people we met, the single malts we enjoyed at Greywalls – but I will save it for our next trip with Links Golf of St. Andrews."

Tain Golf Club

Situated to the south of Royal Dornoch, Tain is a heathland/links course with spectacular views. Designed originally by Old Tom Morris as a fifteen-hole course in 1890, it was extended to eighteen holes in 1894; eleven Morris holes are still in play today. This is an easy walking course with the river meandering through three of the holes. Always presented in beautiful condition, Tain is a good test of golf, with clever bunkering and natural water hazards. Tain is located 35 miles north of Inverness.
