“Our trip was absolutely amazing and we had such wonderful attention every hour along the way between Mark, Sarah and Colin our driver. We were disappointed that we weren’t able to catch up with you. Even though you weren’t able to finish up with us, please know that our trip went so well because of the careful planning you have done with us over the past 3 years! Your handoff to Sarah was smooth and she carried us the rest of the way. I must say that my dream of the Glamis Castle celebration dinner came true in every way. Our friends were absolutely blown away by the splendor of it all. Tosh and I really had fun and enjoyed the entire evening. Doreen was great and apparently the docent who did our tour was the same that the guys had in their 2011 visit; she remembered them! As you saw in the photos, a good time was had by all. The grandchildren were real troopers and we were so pleased and a bit surprised that they were so well acclimated to all the sightseeing, coach journeys and events. Scotland is such a kid friendly country – everywhere we went, there were special activities for them. The highlight for Audrey, our granddaughter, was her trip to the stables to spend some time with Aimee, Mark’s daughter. What a wonderful time she had! That was a personal touch that can’t be replicated! I am busy sorting through our pictures and all those taken by everyone else and may be sending some on for you all to see. Take care and stay in touch.”

Tain Golf Club

Situated to the south of Royal Dornoch, Tain is a heathland/links course with spectacular views. Designed originally by Old Tom Morris as a fifteen-hole course in 1890, it was extended to eighteen holes in 1894; eleven Morris holes are still in play today. This is an easy walking course with the river meandering through three of the holes. Always presented in beautiful condition, Tain is a good test of golf, with clever bunkering and natural water hazards. Tain is located 35 miles north of Inverness.
