Contact us“One of my favourite things is making memories, and I love reconnecting when a client decides it’s time to come back to make more. Months or years may have passed, we pick up where we left off, and I love thinking of imaginative ways to make their next experience exciting, different and even better than the last time.”
“It’s quite incredible to think how many clients reach out year after year, putting their trust in me for their next golfing experience in the UK & Ireland. Many clients now feel like old friends and while it is important that we deliver an itinerary of the highest standard, having that relationship makes it easier to get creative when I am planning their next itinerary.”
“My favourite event of the year is The Open, both when it’s in our hometown of St Andrews and when we take a travelling team elsewhere to another incredible destination. So much work goes into designing, contracting and selling our packages, so I love seeing it through from start to finish and meeting all of the clients we’ve worked so closely with.”
“Whilst the planning of the trip is greatly enjoyable, the real thrill is seeing the joy on the clients face when they stand on the 1st tee of the Old Course for the first time. To be part of that is extremely rewarding.”
“I enjoy the challenge and excitement of building a variety of itineraries. From combined golf & sightseeing tours, to those with helicopters opening up a range of incredible destinations – no one tour is the same. I also have a particular soft spot for our St Andrews Golf Week programme. It brings a variety of nationalities, cultures and client groups together, with many forging life-long friendships as a result of their time here during the event. The camaraderie and experiences make for so much fun, whilst it is exceptionally fulfilling to have so many of the participants return year after year.”
“I find golf travel absolutely wonderful. There’s just something about travelling the world with your nearest and dearest, enjoying exceptional golf as the excuse for doing so, and pairing it with first-class destinations and experiences. We are blessed with an amazing product on our shores, an amazing Team at Links Golf St Andrews and equally amazing clients. All of which makes my job a genuine pleasure.”
“I enjoy showcasing the best of Scotland, Ireland and England’s golf, accommodation, sightseeing and restaurants. However, as someone who loves travel and culture, I find myself very lucky to be connecting with, and learning from, our incredible clients from every corner of the globe.”
“My favourite destination to plan is St Andrews, as I have lived local to the town most of my life and I feel a real connection to the area. It is always lovely to meet clients in person, especially after their round on the St. Andrews Old Course, and seeing how much it meant to them.”
“I’m definitely detail driven, so I love working with clients looking to utilise the full range of our service offering. It’s like solving a puzzle; starting with the best of golf and finding the perfect complement of accommodation, transport, non-golf activities, restaurants and anything else that’s required. The only difference is that seeing someone’s genuine happiness is far more rewarding than a puzzle.”
“Knowing I’m putting together someone’s dream trip, and then hearing they’ve made unforgettable memories with their friends or family, is such a rewarding feeling.”
“I have been an avid golfer since I can remember and was lucky enough to grow up playing some of the brilliant courses in Scotland with my Dad. So, when the opportunity arose to help other families and friends share a similar experience I was thrilled. The way golf can bring people of all ages and abilities together will always amaze me, and it is a dream come true to live and breathe the game every day. I can’t think of a better place to do it than at the hallowed links turf of St Andrews.”
“Delivering golf tours is just so much fun. Everyday I get to meet fantastic groups of people and strike up brilliant relationships whilst touring the UK & Ireland. The best combination for sparking laughter, joy and making memories.”
“I’m incredibly fortunate to have been brought up in St Andrews, “The Home of Golf”, and growing up playing the courses every golfer dreams about. I’m filled with pride when showing my clients around, especially for the first time, watching them completely struck with awe at golf’s true haven.”

Situated to the south of Royal Dornoch, Tain is a heathland/links course with spectacular views. Designed originally by Old Tom Morris as a fifteen-hole course in 1890, it was extended to eighteen holes in 1894; eleven Morris holes are still in play today.
