Inaugural Caribbean Golf Week 2026

Our inaugural Caribbean Golf Week in February was an overwhelming success. Set against the stunning backdrop of Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic, Links Golf St Andrews hosted international guests for a week of endless fun. The event features a blend of individual and team formats for competition rounds; however, the reality is a welcoming atmosphere with like-minded golfers enjoying exceptional courses. The venue consists of 4 course layouts over 63 holes, on world-renowned Pete Dye–designed courses including two rounds at Teeth of the Dog. Golfers and non-golfers alike enjoyed the week-long, all-inclusive experience, combining world-class golf, luxury accommodations, exceptional dining, and unforgettable adventures under the perfect Caribbean sun.

Nearly 50 years ago, Casa de Campo opened as the Dominican Republic’s very first resort, and it has since become a premier destination. Nestled within a secure, private gated community, the resort exudes exclusivity while offering an impressive variety of activities.

For golfers, the week’s highlight was undoubtedly the Teeth of the Dog, frequently ranked among the top 100 courses in the world. Dramatic cliffs, sparkling turquoise waters, and meticulously designed fairways make every round unforgettable. Whilst Pete Dye’s signature style of greens, more like a classic links, ensure every shot matters. However, it’s not just about the golf; a friendly, social atmosphere makes the Caribbean Golf Week a unique experience where players of all abilities can meet, mingle, and enjoy the game together.

Non-golfers were equally spoiled, with options ranging from tours of the local rum factory to a trip to Catalina Island, and plenty of opportunities to unwind by the pool or beach. Whether you’re hitting the links or relaxing under the sun, this event is designed so that everyone – golfers and non-golfers alike – can create lasting memories.

At Casa de Campo, a perfect day begins with morning golf in optimum conditions, followed by lunch and a relaxing afternoon strolling pristine beaches, sitting poolside or indulging in spa treatments. For the more adventurous, there is clay shooting, horseback riding and any amount of water sports. As the sky turns golden, guests gather for exquisite dining at the resort’s signature restaurants and toast the day with handcrafted cocktails in breezy, open-air lounges.

The Caribbean Golf Week at Casa de Campo is more than just a golf trip; it’s a celebration of world-class courses, great experiences, and the unmatched beauty of the Dominican Republic. Bookings for 2027 are now open, and we can’t wait to welcome more of our wonderful customers to this extraordinary event.
